Valentine's Day

I know, I know. Everyone hates Valentine's Day. I think if you say you like the holiday people would probably shun you as a sap and a sell out. Well I had a wonderful Valentine's Day this year, not just because I had someone to spend it with (we road a tandem bike around the city all day. It was awesome) but because I could set aside a moment in my busy life to think about all the people I care about. Yes, you should tell the ones you love how you feel everyday, but seems we forget to do that more and more as time goes on. We get used to having people around, forgetting to express how much they mean to us. So what if we all agree to make it a day not about candy hearts and flowers, but just about recognizing the people in our lives who truly mean something to us, not just a lover, but also friends, sisters, parents, pets, who cares! So in that regard I fully support a day where we stop and say I Love You to the people who deserve it most. To all of you out there who I care about, I'm so happy to have you in my life in one way or another. You mean the world to me and I don't tell you that enough.
